Huge flea market that spans over a couple of streets
We've been fortunate to be able to come to this flea market on the 2 trips that we have made to Tokyo. Its about 30 mins from Tokyo station, and you get to ride on the very quaint Setagaya Rail line....

It is held in Setagaya Boro City, around Kamimachi Station and Setagaya Station on the Tokyu Setagaya Line on December and January 15th and 16th. It seems to have an old history. Even if you say rag city, you can sell not only rag (old ones), but also new products. I feel that the store that opens is around the same place every time. It's fun in the mood of the festival, so I try to buy something I care about while eating and walking. The specialty Daikan Mochi is quite average ...
Boro City in Setagaya will be held twice in December and January, but I went to the second time. It was after the rain, but there were quite a few people. I didn't have anything I was looking for, but what I was interested in was accessories. There are many street food stalls, and I think it's a fun event.
