Baiyun Park

Suizhou Baiyun Park is located on Baiyun Hunan Road, Suizhou City, Hubei Province, close to Baiyun Lake, is the largest large-scale comprehensive park in Suizhou City with complete facilities. Suizhou, located in the north of Hubei, Lishan is considered to be one of the birthplaces of Yandi Shennong, and the clocks unearthed at the tomb of Zenghou Yi, Lugudun, are more famous in Suizhou. Human living environment is inseparable from water, cities are often built near the water, Suizhou is no exception, passing through the city called Fuhe, also known as Lishui. The city has a river gate to cut off the Lishui, and a wide reservoir is formed upstream, called Baiyun Lake. Baiyun Lake is named after Baiyun Mountain on the south bank of Lishui. On the south bank of Baiyun Lake at the intersection of Lishui and Lishui River, a park is built, which is Baiyun Park. The gate of the park faces Baiyun Avenue. There is a stone archway at the gate, which is set with a plaque of "Baiyun Park". This park was built in 1981 and has a history of 40 years. When you enter the park, you must first cross a bridge and go forward to reach the banks of the Lishui River. In the center of the park, there is a statue, which is very striking and can be called a point of clearing. The shape of the statue is very unique, its image is derived from the unearthed cultural relics of Zeng Houyi's tomb, called "Antler Crane", which is riveted from the four parts of the crane body, crane legs, antler, and bottom plate. It is an auspicious animal created by the ancients. The pedestal of the statue is designed to make bells look like a perfect combination of local culture and it can be called a clever work. The main landscape of the park is concentrated on the central axis from the gate to Baiyun Lake. Standing by Baiyun Lake, you can only see the water open, and the opposite bank is the city of Suizhou, a bustling city. The park is large in size, once the largest park in the city, most of which are covered by dense woods, green roads in the forest, fresh air, is a good place for fitness hiking. I like a French eucalyptus tree next to the playground, also known as Suzuki, which was originally planted in the French concession in Shanghai. I look up and see the sun passing through the gap in the leaves. It feels very tasteful and reminds people of their childhood. Walking east along the green road in the forest, I found a pond in the depths of the dense forest, surrounded by green trees, the environment is quiet, there are anglers alone in the pond, waiting for the fish to hook. The pond is on the side of the river. It is expected that the river building will be repaired. Unfortunately, it has been in disrepair for a long time and the door is closed.
