Hunan Villa

Hunan Villa is a European-style garden house with a false three-storey mixed structure, facing south, built in 1931. The original owner was the residence of the major shareholder of British businessman Kam Lung Yang. Part of the façade still uses white fine powder finish, herringbone gable, Xieshan roof, flat arched wooden doors and windows. Corners, pilasters between windows, entrance columns, etc. are built with irregular stones, and the texture of the finish is natural. On the ground floor of the south facade, there are horizontal and long red tile sloping eaves, the second floor is a double-column porch, and the third floor has an arched stone column window under the herringbone eaves. The layout of the garden is exquisite and unique, and the flowers bloom in all seasons. There is a small pond in the garden, which has been short of water for many years. On the small rockery, there are many decorative objects such as porcelain geese. Potted wisteria, vigorous. The house is hidden in dense woods.
