I stopped by Asahiji Temple when I visited the Momokutori Kofun Tumulus, which was registered as a World Heritage Site this year. It is located in the southwest corner of the Nintoku Emperor's Mausoleum, and there are many tomb mounds around the Nintoku Emperor's Mausoleum, so it is very convenient to stop by while visiting the burial mounds.
It originated from Asahi-an, which was built near Morinomiya, Osaka City in 1752, and was relocated in 1931. It is located in a place where many people pass across the Nintoku Emperor's Mausoleum and Daisen Park.
