Facang Temple

You can walk up the mountain in Pengzhou Fazang Temple, or you can walk up the mountain on the cement road of the village road. I chose to take the cement road and walk down the mountain. The cement road is the village road here. There are vehicles constantly walking. This road is steep, one side is the mountain, the other side is the cliff, But the peach blossoms on both sides of the road are very beautiful, the scenery is beautiful, the air is fresh, and the majestic Fazang Temple is in front of you for more than 20 minutes.

The main buildings of Fazang Temple are: Daxiong Temple, Wuguantang, Guanyin Temple, Tibetan Jing Pavilion, Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Dumpling Tower and surrounding annex buildings. The building under construction of Fazang Temple still adopts the common bucket-like structure in the south. The layout of the monastery is on the hillside, with both obvious central axis and chic small courtyard, giving people a grand and deep feeling.

There are two roads to go up the mountain to Fazang Temple, one is a hiking trail, Fazang Temple is located on the mountainside of Phoenix Mountain, Phoenix Mountain is not high, walking up the mountain is not tired, the forest on the way up the mountain is dense, avoid the sun and cover the sky, the air is fresh, walking here is pleasing to the eye. On the way to the mountain, I also saw the grasshopper stone in Sanqi and the famous one growing outside the temple. The tree is about 1500 years old and the ancient ginkgo tree. The tree is more than 30 meters high and is known as the Ping An tree of Fazang Temple.

The Fazang Temple, located in Phoenix Mountain, Danjingshan Town, Pengzhou City, has a history of more than 1100 years.
