There is a monument on the premises of the Osaka Sales Department of the Bank of Mitsubishi UFJ in Midosujizoi. According to the inscription, the Osaka Chamber of Commerce, the predecessor of the Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was founded in this place in 1897. It is said that it was founded by Tomoatsu Godai and others, who have a large statue in front of the Osaka Exchange.
