Accidentally entered the "Palace in the Sky"

Niushou Mountain Cultural Tourism Area Niushou Mountain, also known as Tianque Mountain, is named for its twin peaks on the mountain top resembling the horns of a bull's head. The Niushou Mountain Cultural Tourism Area boasts beautiful scenery and is known as "Spring Niushou" for its reputation. In ancient times, there were famous Jinling sceneries such as Niushou Misty Mountains and Zutang Vibrant Tin, and many historical relics have been preserved.
Niushou Mountain Cultural Tourism Area is a Buddhist holy land. The Buddha Cave Temple built by Xu Du, the Minister of Works during the second year of the Liang Dynasty's Tianjian era (503 AD), was the first temple on Niushou Mountain. The last ruler of the Southern Tang, Li Yu, renamed it Hongjue Temple; Emperor Tang Daizong once dreamed of a Pratyekabuddha visiting him from Niushou Mountain, hence the Pratyekabuddha Pagoda. During the Tang Dynasty, the monk Farong, hailed as the 'Dharma of Eastern Xia', founded the Niutou Chan School on Niushou Mountain, also known as 'Jiangbiao Niutou'. The establishment of the Niutou Chan School played a significant role in transforming Indian Dhyana into Chinese Chan, serving as an important bridge.
📆Tour Strategies:
Niushou Mountain has an east and a west gate; the east gate is at the foot of the mountain, a 200-meter walk will take you to the entrance of the scenic area, and then you can take a direct bus to the mountain gate. There are many attractions at the east gate, and there is a luggage storage area, but if it's the peak season, parking is difficult, and you have to queue for the bus; the west gate is halfway up the mountain, requiring a walk up the mountain, closer to the Buddha's Top Palace, but if you're fit, it won't take long to get there.
After getting off the bus and entering the scenic area, you can see the escalators going up the mountain, which are divided into several sections. I feel that in all my travels, this is the first time I've seen escalators that can go up a mountain😃 This facility is simply too friendly😆 especially for the elderly and children!
After exiting the Zen Scenery Grand View, walk along the corridor to the entrance of the Underground Palace. Before entering the Underground Palace, you need to put on shoe covers, and then follow the guide signs. As soon as you enter the main gate of the Underground Palace, you take the descending escalator. Going down to the fifth underground level, passing through the Thousand Buddha Corridor, what appears before you is the Relic Hall.
Suggested visiting order: Buddha's Top Palace - Underground Palace - Buddha's Top Pagoda - Buddha's Top Temple.
🌟Highlights:
The Buddha's Top Palace is themed around the worship of the Buddha's parietal bone relic, divided into a large dome and a small dome, symbolizing external and internal offerings. The Buddha's Top Palace is built using an existing mine pit, with six underground levels and three above ground, very solemn and imposing. Many people say the top is a "golden durian"🤣 but it actually resembles the Buddha's hair bun and kasaya more. The reflection on the lake sets off the building, making it very photogenic!
There are a total of 56 flying Apsara Bodhi gates and 56 cloud gate wish-fulfilling columns symbolizing auspiciousness. The arches and corridors outside the palace have a bit of a European style! Inside the palace, what catches the eye are exquisite murals, carved from more than twenty types of thousands of pieces of jade, telling the story of the "Buddha's smile upon picking a flower" and the origin of the "robe and bowl inheritance".
The celestial palace of the Buddha's Top Palace, also known as the Zen Scenery Grand View. In the center is the Nirvana statue of the Buddha, made of bronze in the shape of white marble.
Right in the center of the Relic Hall is the Relic Pagoda. It's truly breathtaking, with a level of exquisiteness that cannot be expressed in words, approached with a heart of reverence
Coming out of the Relic Hall to the sixth underground level, it is only open for 21 special days each year, on the eighth day of the fourth lunar month, the Bathing Buddha Festival, the birthday of Sakyamuni Buddha🙏 It's rare to have the chance to pay homage to the Buddha's parietal bone relic🙏
The scenic spot is clean and tidy, there is a shuttle bus, there is an elevator up and down the mountain, which can reduce a lot of physical strength. The Buddha Palace is very beautiful, that is, the shuttle bus fare in the west gate is a bit expensive, and there is not much distance of 10 yuan.
Don't have a cave, one step more scenery, worthwhile trip, small and exquisite characteristics, very chic. The second time I came, I still like it very much. The beautiful scenery of Jiangnan has a cave, and it is very quiet. come back next time

I recommend everyone to go, the scenery on the mountain is beautiful, the Buddha Palace is also beautiful, I like to take pictures 📸 I can make a film, don't forget to go to the Digong to see, I feel very shocking, at least I have not seen it in other places in China, I have the opportunity to go again
Man-made modern Buddhist palace-Buddhist Palace, large scale, beautifully built, dedicated to Buddha Sherizi, it is worth seeing, the surrounding natural landscape is general, there are many photography check-in points in the Buddha Palace, suitable for photography lovers! Believers will have regrets when they go, and they are not allowed to worship incense. Although there are many visitors, they lack the incense and fire, and they can only look at it! It is a modern Buddhist hall, which can be appreciated as an excellent architectural art work, and lacks historical heritage! Tickets are 160 yuan, although expensive but still worth a visit, especially for people interested in Buddhist culture, architectural art, photography!
Because I arrived at 4:30 in the afternoon, I quickly took the scenic bus and reached the top of the mountain station. After that, I took the elevator 4~6 times (good humanity) to reach the Buddha Palace. The top of the mountain is divided into Buddha Palace and Buddha Tower. The tower is to see the scenery, and there is not much time to see the others. The Buddha Ding Palace is to see a sleeping Buddha. It is not as big as expected, so small. Then the second floor is the photography of Buddha statues everywhere. After reading these, I arrived at the scenic spot during the off-duty time and then took the bus back to take the mother.
Ctrip booking discount of 15 yuan/person one day in advance. We want to arrive at 8:17 in the morning on holidays. There are still many people and buses that are first there. There are several underground parking lots. It is a bit dizzy to come back to find the car. Later, the machine is guided by the parking lot security staff. We are entering the east gate, and those with children need to be manually checked and released. If you don’t want to climb the mountain, you can take the bus up the mountain. We have traveled all the way to Taibai Spring, Mengdie Temple, Buddha Ding Temple, Buddha Ding Pagoda, and Buddha Ding Palace. There are free shoe covers for visiting the Digong. There are meals at the entrance and worry-free square. It is too big. I queued up down the mountain and took the bus. Arrived in a few minutes, 10 yuan per person per way. Down to Shandong and West entrance diversion. The whole climbing Buddha Ding Palace is still relatively flat, and the sky is not too hot. There are two escalators in the worry-free square. The scenery is quite good and the holidays are too crowded. There is paper in the toilet, which is fine. The west entrance is close to the Buddha Palace, but still enjoy the process of climbing the mountain and seeing the scenery along the way.
Niushou Mountain is a famous Buddhist mountain in China, with a deep cultural heritage and magnificent natural scenery. The Buddha's top bones of Sakyamuni are dedicated to the Buddha's top palace of Niushou Mountain. The Buddha's top palace is magnificent and the interior is gorgeously decorated. There are also many attractions in the scenic area, such as the Buddha Peak Tower and the Niutou Zen Cultural Park, which are worth a visit. Jinling Town is located on the west side of Niushou Mountain. It is a small town with the theme of Jinling culture. The town has a unique architectural style, and the night view is particularly beautiful. There are mountains and waters, boats and bridges, pavilions and pavilions, and they are full of glory. Here you can also see people wearing exquisite Hanfu, making people seem to travel back to ancient times. In addition, the town has many live interactions and performances, bringing a rich travel experience to tourists. In addition, the support army work in Nanjing is very good. Niushoushan exchanged free tickets with the preferential treatment certificate, and the attitude of the service staff was also very good!
