Dazhongting Park

The bell pavilion was built in Ming Hongwu 15 years (1382). A bronze bell was cast in the pavilion in the year 121 (1388). Its building scale is rare in China, divided into two floors, the lower floor is arched without beam city, the upper floor is the top of the four slopes, dragon flying phoenix dance, carved beam painting building, very spectacular.

Located in the center of Nanjing Gulou Square, you can look up at the Zifeng Building towering into the clouds. Surrounding the big bell pavilion, there are now all restaurants, there is also a high-end nursing home, small foreign-style building, it is estimated that not ordinary people can enter.

By chance, I saw Dazhongting Park on the way to Nanjing Bell Tower. The online check was actually a key cultural relics protection unit at the provincial level. It turned out that there was one bell tower in Nanjing City at the beginning of the Ming Dynasty. The bell tower collapsed in Qing Kangxi. In the late Qing Dynasty, a bell tower was built in the place and a sleeping bell was placed.
