The Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall is a three-storey Islamic Moorish-style building next to the Universal Hotel at No. 1 Vendez Street. The Memorial Hall of the Father of the National Macao was built in 1918 and was used as the residence of Sun Yat-sen and his family. Until 1932, Sun Yat-sen's descendants, Zhesheng, and Sun Yat-sen's Yuanpei wife, Lu Muzhen, lived here. In 1958, it was renamed the Father of the Nation Memorial Hall, the Father of the Nation Memorial Hall in Macau. In addition to the photo exhibition, there are many real relics of Mr. Sun Yat-sen.
