The natural wonder of the cave is displayed in all its glory here, earning it the reputation of a 'world cave wonder'! 🌟 Attraction Introduction ✅ The Silver Cave is a typical karst formation, running through twelve peaks and is a layered cave. Inside the cave, the stalactites glisten like a galaxy, shining like silver, hence the name 'Silver Cave'. ❇️ There are dozens of unique scenic spots inside the Silver Cave, with the three most famous features being: the Snow Mountain Waterfall, the Music Stone Screen, and the Yao Pool Fairyland; and the three treasures: the Buddha Discussing Scriptures, the Mixed Yuan Pearl Umbrella, and the Single Pillar Holding the Sky. ✳️ The Music Stone Screen is currently the most complete set of stone screens in Guangxi. I've come to Yinziyan again! If I remember correctly, this is my third visit within a year, and every time there are new surprises! Let's talk about the changes first. Since Yinziyan developed its own IP, it has consciously integrated the six IP characters into the scenic area, focusing on the God of Wealth and Pixiu, and highlighting their most dazzling business card---'Wealth Culture'. From the parking lot lawn to the cave entrance, one can feel the strong atmosphere of wealth culture all along the way, even the inconspicuous stairs carry the implication of 'making money in a proper way'. Of course, the most 'cultural' place in the scenic area has to be the cultural and creative store. Cultural and creative products, which integrate culture and creativity, are the true essence of cultural innovation. The decorations and products sold in this small shop all without exception showcase the scenic area's characteristics and wealth culture. There are fridge magnets and mugs with elements of the cave and the God of Wealth, soft and reliable Pixiu plush pillows, multi-colored stamps featuring Guangxi's scenic spots... all of them are culturally creative items with great commemorative value. Taking these items to the cave for photos and check-ins is like adding flowers to the already splendid cave. After visiting Yinziyan three times, I truly feel that it is one of the few scenic areas worth revisiting. Getting There - We took a private car from our hotel. Recommended because if you get a Didi there, you might not find one to get back. you could scooter, or even bike ride there from Yangshou, or any Li River hotel,, but weather was not good enough for that. Attractions - Amazing stalactites and stalagmites lit up with funky lights. it's not a bad thing to do on a poor weather day. in December, it's probably the warmest place around (fully clothed...as there are hot springs!). Hotels - it's labelled as Guilin, but actually near to Yangshou. No hotels around the site itself. Food & Restaurants - There are some stalls with local food outside the caves. Shopping - of course!!!! inside the caves and outside...Disney style. Other- We read that you need to join a tour group, but that's not true now. You get given an audio tour guide and you can't get lost. If I remember correctly it costs 65rmb each adult.

I can't help but marvel once again at the natural craftsmanship on display. Here, I witnessed the coexistence of four generations of stalactites, as well as the cliff hanging in the mirror as described in 'The Lost Tomb', which is deeply shocking! I heard this place might also be a filming location for 'Journey to the West'? Friends who have never seen a cave must come!!!!!!! Here are some tips: - Parking fee: 💰7.5 outside the parking lot, 💰10 for covered parking inside. - Admission: 💰55 (can be booked through the hotel you are staying at, usually there is a partnership, which is 10r cheaper than outside). - Attraction features: Karst cave, very beautiful, about 1 hour for a visit, we actually only spent about 30 minutes taking photos, but we recorded and appreciated many charming stalactites. - Other matters: As soon as you enter, you will be provided with an audio guide, be sure to wear it on your ears, listening to the introduction is really great! When it comes to hiking, China is super blessed with all the mountains and with less harmful animals. Thus as we decided to walk the talk with the nature, it led us to Guangxi province where the trails and perfectly laid (as we're not hardcore hikers) and quite a relaxing hike we had. After the hike for a while, we ventured to a nearby village to have a look at their customs and traditions. We participated in the local dance performance and the lucky one got a garland (that's me 😋). Later in the trip, we also went to see the Silver caves, which is quite magnificent. These caves are formed by volcanic flow some 1000 years of ago and still the ground holds, so we can go around and have a look. It is an easy trail that can be done by anyone, while you got to be properly dressed for all the sweating 😅 inside.
