A nice square off the main Yumekyobashi Castle Road
This place is on a side street which is full of new and interesting shops and restaurants. I had a nice lunch at the tachibana Dining with their Hikone Don.
Definitely for tourists but the soundscape was a cute concept
We walked around this square after visiting Hikone Castle in the middle of winter and were pleasantly surprised by the sound of rainforest birds and frogs in the air - what an interesting concept! It ...
Nice little area with fountains, shops and restaurants. There's a cat cafe around the corner, the only one in Hikone! There are several antique shops here, one where you can even get second-hand kimon...

Some places were not open, but I went at 11 o'clock because I heard that I could meet Hikonyan. Hikonyan was too cute and healed. It seems that there is a stone statue of Hikonyan a little further back, so I went there as well. The Christmas specification was cute. The stone statue, which has been over 10 years, is relatively beautiful without missing or collapsed. The sweet shop Kamakura opposite together, a specialty store called Warabi Mochi, was too exquisite to eat Warabi Mochi.
