Towards the end of the story was white snake is casted under this Lei Feng Tower forever. However, this Lei Feng Tower tumble and it was rebuilt. The building residue was retrofitted at the Lv1 & 2 level and there is a viewing deck in the new building. Recommend to come here to learn more about the history!

I think 10 yuan is reasonable for the finished product. The pagoda has both an elevator and stairs. If you can, I suggest taking the stairs because the elevator wait is quite long. Climbing up floor by floor, each level offers a different view which is quite interesting (if you really don't want to walk, just take the elevator). The view from the top is amazing, directly overlooking the vast beauty of West Lake, totally fell in love with it. However, the corridor around the outer circle of the pagoda is quite narrow and can get crowded, so be careful with your phone when taking photos. On the way down, there's a relic museum you can visit, and a small exhibition hall nearby that you can check out without going out of your way. A super important point: when leaving the scenic area, if you don't mind taking the bus, it's best to take one back. If you want comfort, take a taxi, it's not expensive (for taxis, make sure the meter is on). But never take those unlicensed taxis that solicit passengers at the entrance.
