Baotou

In Mongolian, "baotou" means “a place with deer”, so in Chinese it is called Lucheng or ‘Deer City.’ In Baotou, you can go to the grasslands and stay in a yurt, drink a bowl of hot milk tea, eat an authentic boiled lamb, then hear a faraway Mongolian song to experience the heroic character of the Mongolian people. You can travel on to the Northern Weaponry City, climb up on a tank, play with a cannon, transform into a soldier and live out a scene fighting the battlefield. In addition, the vast and imposing ruins of the Wudang Zhao section of the Great Wall from the Zhao Kingdom of the Warring States era, older than the Badaling Great Wall by a thousand years, is also worth a visit.
