Hotel Tassel

The Tassel Mansion is an urban residence built by Victor Horta in Brussels between 1893 and 1894 for Belgian scientist and professor Emile Tassel. Along with three other Victor Horta-designed urban dwellings, it was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 2000. The mansion has a fantastic design, and Horta built a house that consists of three distinct parts. Two fairly traditional masonry buildings, one facing the street and one facing the inner garden, are connected by a glass-covered steel structure. Horta managed to integrate luxurious finishes without overshadowing the brilliance of the overall architectural structure. Whether it is the diffusion of light, decorative lines and architectural structure are excellent.
