Zhongpu Palace is one of the six palaces in the east of the inner court, located in the west of Jingyang Palace, north of Chenggan Palace. Ming Yongle 18 years (1420) completed, the first name of Xianyang Palace, Ming Jiajing 14 years (1535) changed the name of Zhongpu Palace, Longqing five years (1571) changed the front hall of Zhongpu Palace - Xinglong Palace, the back hall - the Holy Zhe Palace, for the emperor prince residence, the later renamed Zhongpu Palace.
