As we were coming from Boot we had already driven over Hardknott Pass, which is much more challenging, so Wrynose seemed like a doddle in comparison. That’s not to smuggest that it isn’t an exhilarat...
Driving
The people who drive these roads seem to be driven by need to make other road users' drive hellish. Use otherroadse even though it might be long.
Beautiful views
Wrynose Pass is a beautiful road to drive, in the right weather. Leading onto Hardknott and the Roman remains. Those who expect Rhinos on Wrynose will be sorely disappointed but a few Herdwick sheep...
