Trip.com has not confirmed with the hotel when we arrived there. The Hotel reception had to contact trip.com hotline and it made us to wait for a while.

Not a bad spot, parking a bit difficult

The hotel was in a great location as it's not far from theatre, shopping and other amenities. Only down side is the shower head really badly needed de-scaleing.

Ideal location and average price/performance ratio. But the prices of hotels in the city center are almost the same

Overall the hotel itself was decent, room was basic but okay but expected with the price you pay. Was visiting Bristol due to having an appointment at the children’s hospital for me severely ill baby so the need for the hotel was necessary. Paid an extra £22 for myself and my mum to have breakfast and it was appalling. Service was shocking, they were clearly understaffed and overworked. Hot food was cold. No coffee machine. Pastries from continental were hard and stale. Breakfast was a complete let down. Will be eating elsewhere with future appointments.

Comfy bed, nice quiet room, easy check in, polite staff. But please respond re whether you’ve found my brand new pjs that I accidentally left behind? I’ve emailed twice already. Thanks

The reception staff were very friendly. We mainly spoke to the man with dark hair rather than the light haired man who didn’t seem to speak. On our arrival to the room we noticed blood stains on the wall and door frame to the outside of the bathroom. When this was raised the dark haired reception man said he would see to it when we were out. On our arrival he notified us that it was dealt with. Breakfast was toast. As we were attending the Vegan Runners 20 year anniversary, and running Bristol half marathon, we wanted something suitable to eat pre race. We saw they had vegan porridge so decided to pay for the breakfast. Once sat down with a coffee, we asked the breakfast staff where we could get the vegan porridge. The girl went to the kitchen and asked but said they didn’t do any. Instead she brought one bowl of porridge with cows milk. We had to explain to her that we didn’t have cows milk as we were vegan. She still offered the porridge to us. The Toast took a long time to cook on the conveyor toaster and has three trips around before being a pale brown colour! This caused a bit of a queue of toast and people! It’s a shame you can’t open the windows in the room as it felt a little claustrophobic. The shower gel bottle was empty.

Was so happy with this hotel. Did exactly what we needed it to do, lovely clean room and comfy bed for the night. Lots of shops around and loved the huge Primark opposite! Would definitely use this hotel again if I was needing one in the area. Probably wouldn’t bother with breakfast as there seemed to be a few nicer places nearby.

When making contact to arrange an early check-in, I mentioned to the receptionist, Amy, that it was my wife's 50th birthday with a few surprises. Amy kindly arranged for some gifts and a hand written card in the room and ensured that my wife was not made suspicious about other rooms I have booked for surprise guests

My husband and I needed somewhere to stay for one night to break up a very long drive from Scotland to Cornwall. We have stayed in Bristol before but not at this hotel. It was easy to book. On arrival the staff we're having issues with their computer system but they remained friendly and professional and soon got us booked in. The room was exactly what you'd expect from a premier inn. It was very clean, comfortable, plenty of towels, tea and coffee available if wanted. Nothing to fault really. The only problem was the internet speed. We did try to use the free WiFi to watch a streaming service on a tablet we brought with us but the free WiFi isn't very good, I suppose that why they offer the 'ultimate WiFi' for £5 per day. I'm too tight to pay for Internet too haha. Overall, we had a great stay.

While all hotels in Bristol are seemingly ludicrously expensive, this was a reasonably priced option and in a great location. Max 20 minutes walk from wherever we wanted to be. Usual quality of premier inn beds/comfort level, and decent security to stop any randoms getting in and keep the place secure.
