My last visit was 2 years ago.. and yesterday I tried it again (Sept 11-12) When we arrived the room is not yet ready and waited for 20 mins before releasing the room. The FO duty gave me the WIFI password for 2 devices only. while waiting we already connected to the wifi however when we arrived at the room the signal is so week and no internet connection. We called assistance, the IT officer went to our room and check.. He offered other wifi connection but still not working.. He went to our room thrice but the connection is not FIXED. I am telling you dis cuz ito din nagig problem ko from last stay ko.. And ngayon di pa padin nag babago, walang improvement. Second, BOTTLED WATER. WOW. I am also working sa hotel pero ang tubig is libre kahit gaano kadami ang hingin.. my bayad man ang tubig pero un is kung ung branded talaga na bottled water. 500 ml na summit is 15 pesos lang... So namahalan ako.. ginawa ko nag padeliver nalang ako. Third, Last day.. I ask the FOA if possible for late check out. 1PM lang naman.. Ang sagot lang nya sakin is ... Ay Maam, hindi ko po alam tatanong ko lang po sa Supervisor. But nung time na un is sya palang naak duty so sabi ko babalikan ko nalang sya.. So, Over all.. I think, NEED ng staffs nyo ng training on how to answer queries.complain, concern ng guets.. Okay naman ung hotel nyo sana kaso if ganon ang staffs nyo pumapangit ang Image.

F8 Inn - Formerly F8 Bed & Breakfast

This place is far from the mainstream Tagaytay, it is close to Picnic Grove, People's Park, and the entrance for Tagaytay Highlands. Therefore, a car is a must. To get to Tagaytay proper is 30 minutes upwards. This place has 7 rooms, of which we got 3 rooms for our group of 9. We got a room for 4, for 3, and for 2. Their front parking can accomodate 3 cars only, with additional cars either parking at the basement (hard access), or along the main road. Its really a house, turned into a airbnb. I used the living room to watch the NBA every monring, then go back to the main dining table for breakfast. We brought some fruits and used the kitchen with the help of their staff either to add on for breakfast, or for an after dinner snacks. They even switched on the split type airconditioning for us during that evening. The rooms are mostly on the 2nd floor (4 rooms -we oocupied 3 of the 4), and the rooms on the attic 3rd floor. There is another room at the basement. If the people staying at the attic rooms are noisy, you can hear their steps because of all the wood flooring. Bed frames are very high, higher than a typical bed. Super thick mattresses, but comfortable. Very good airconditioning. Flying and crawling insects were present in the room, which is possible given that the toilet window is open and can allow insects to go in. The problem I have is cleanliness. The staff is not thorough. The upper shelves in the room cabinets were very dusty. Certain sections of the toilets were not clean. The game room at the basement 2 was dusty. Even the refrigerator in the kitchen was dirty. This is really a pity because the service was really great, the staff went out of their way for the demanding senior citizen in our group. People took turns using the main dining room. But some of those occupying the other rooms either preferred to have their breakfast at the al fresco area or they had to go there if the main dining table was occupied. Service by the staff deserves a 5. The place itself deserves a 4. But the cleanliness issues is a 3 at best. Price is unbeatable, though.

Have been traveling throughout SE Asia for the past month and a half and have stayed in a variety of hotels, but this place takes last place so far. Upon checking in, we were shown to a room with a kitchenette - Room E (not that we needed it, but that's all that was available when booked). There was a fridge, a microwave and a sink and not much else. Plenty of cabinet and counter top space, but no way to cook anything. Not sure why they were so excited about the kitchenette. It was a nice sized room, but the smell of urine and sewage from the bathroom was overwhelming. Really tried to deal with it, but when the wi-fi wasn't working, had to inform the front desk agent. She came to the room and agreed it smelled bad and immediately moved us to another room by the front entrance - Room B, which we appreciated. Wifi worked there also as we were so close to the front desk. Only issue was we had to move to a different room after 2 nights as Room B was booked. No biggie. We moved to Room H (I think) which is further down the hill and one of two rooms directly below a very nice look out pavilion. The room was much cleaner than our original room and smelled as though they used a gallon of bleach to clean the bathroom so we opened the front door and the balcony door to air it out. Front desk brought a wifi box for us, but it only worked occasionally. The water pressure was terrible in the bathroom sink and the shower and the water temperature in the shower changed from hot to cold to hot no matter what setting you had it on. Quite the showering experience. The wall between this room and the one next door was so thin, we could hear the conversations in the next room. Further, whoever decided to build two guest rooms under the lookout pavilion needs to be fired. Guests were going up there at 6am and running around with kids and created so much noise, we had to go out and ask them to be considerate of those sleeping. There was also construction noise at 10pm on a Saturday evening - drilling and hammering - appears some kind of a new structure was being built just down the hill. Perhaps construction could be done during daytime hours?? At check out, we were quite surprised to learn we were charged 50 pesos for a bucket of ice. Not too worried about the 50 pesos, but being told there was a small charge would have been appropriate at the time of ordering. The agent at check out seemed to care less about it and continued to press for final payment. The views are also not quite as advertised. While you CAN see the Lake, it would be best described as a ”partial view”. Overall, not very satisfied. Most staff seemed to try their best to make guests feel welcome and I'm sure many of the issues are a result of ownership or management decisions. Sad because this place could be a lot better. Will stay elsewhere in the future.
