The temple was built in the late Yuan and early Ming Dynasty. Because it is located on the North Street, it is also known as the Beida Temple. This is a traditional Chinese palace-style construction. The two courtyards stand opposite each other. It consists of the main entrance, minaret, main hall, north and south lecture halls, bathrooms, and funeral parlors. The main entrance is three rooms wide and two rooms deep. The single eaves rest on the top of the mountain. The roof is covered with ash tube tiles. The ridge is embossed with lotus flowers. The front of the ridge is placed with a cloud plate. The minaret is also called Wangyue Tower. It is 10 meters high and has two floors. It is a double-eaved Xieshan pavilion-style building. The main hall, also known as the worship hall, is five rooms wide and four rooms deep. There are two copper incense burners in the Xuande period of the Ming Dynasty, 16 large and small inscriptions in the Qing Dynasty, and two ancient locust trees that are hundreds of years old in the temple.
