The huge "Makai Buddha" on the opposite bank, which separates the river, is more famous than the temple itself. It seems that it is said that the actor opened. The Maitreya Bodhisattva of this Makai Buddha is really high １３．８ｍ and is one of the largest in my country. It seems to have been engraved in the Kamakura period. Also, this place is famous as a "Weeping Sakura Temple", and the season when the cherry blossoms bloom is the best (I have been there once). This time, I was overwhelmed by the splendor of the Makai Buddha, which was colored in autumn leaves, not cherry blossoms.
