The Roman Forum was built in the 7th century BC and is the oldest of the many squares in Rome. Originally an Etruscan burial site, it later became a place of law, administration, commerce and religion in ancient Rome. On the west side, you can admire the remains of the TempiodiCastorePollux, the foundation part left by the BasilicaGiulia. There is a gap on the right side of the Giulia Synagogue, which leads to the great sewer of ancient Rome. At the end of the road is the ancient Santa Maria Antigua, which is enclosed by a fence.
