Tulum Review

Tulum is one of the last cities built and lived by the Mayan civilization, and one of the best preserved coastal Mayan sites. Along the site, the Caribbean Sea is really beautiful, and the water is very blue and clear.

We cycled from the hotel to the site and it was easy to find. You can buy tickets in advance at the roadside stall next to the site, which means you can skip the queue to get in from the fast track. When you walk through the jungle to reach the site you will find almost no shade, so my advice is to bring a hat, water and sunscreen!

Our guide spoke two languages and he told us interesting things about the area and the locals. He also noticed the weather was hot and kept looking for shade throughout the trip so we could sit and rest
