Palais de Tokyo's minimalist style interior of polished concrete and steel acts as an empty canvas for the rotating exhibitions, installations and performances that take place here. It has no permanent collection, but its scope reaches across the globe. Its impressive open-plan space includes a monumental light-plastic sculpture hanging from the ceiling and a retro space-age café area that would not look out of place on the set of Star Trek. DJs get busy on the decks come night-time.
