3 popular buildings in Paris 🗼🏗️🌆
#citywalk
Travelling to Paris, there are 3 world famous buildings that representing the country that you must visit to:
1) Eiffel Tower
- It’s a masterpiece that built on 1889 which is more than hundred years. Nowadays, it is 1 of the most unique and top 1 attractions where the tourists will definitely visit when travelling to Paris. People always say: If you did not visit this place, you never come to Paris! Therefore, please make sure that this place is in your list during the visit. Personally, I will highly recommend you going to Trocadero as you can enjoy the full view of Eiffel Tower while the street artist is performing the romantic songs.
2) Arc de Triomphe
- The building honours those who died for France during the French Revolution and the Napoleonic Wars, with the names of all French victories and generals inscribed on its inner and outer surfaces. Honestly I have no idea how to get to the building from the opposite road as it located in the centre of the roundabout and I dint see any pedestrian walkway to cross over. 😅😅
3) Musee de Louvre
- This is the largest museum in the world with the world famous painting - Mona Lisa inside. The entrance is not free of charge so you can either choose to pay for entrance OR take photo outside only. Personally I dint go in due to budget constraint the entire trip, however, i think it is worth to pay a visit and will arrange it next time.

Louvre Museum Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
The historic record Louvre museum 🇫🇷
The second day in Paris. We visited to the popular Louvre museum where the masterpieces of art have been discovered.
To visit every site room inside the museum, it could take at least 4 hrs. We lined up around 1 hr to take a picture with Monalisa 😂
Mostly, the historical arts room such as Italian, French are crowded. Quite a few people who like modern art rooms like Spanish art.
The museum is always busy, so make sure to make online reservation before tickets are sold out.

Exploring 'The Heart of the Virgin': The Notre Dame de Paris Light Show
The 'Dame de Cœur' (Heart of the Virgin) Notre Dame de Paris Light Show is a spectacle directed by Bruno. After eight months of meticulous preparation, it was held on November 8-11, 2017, to commemorate the centenary of the victory of World War I and to pay tribute to the thousands of soldiers. The show brought an unforgettable audio-visual feast to the audience that night, lasting 25 minutes and including 17 sets of light and shadow picture scenes. The scene was very shocking! Due to the popularity of the first event, a second one was held in 2018. The Notre Dame de Paris, a building that has witnessed 850 seasons, has seen countless historical events. That night, it once again took the spotlight and became the focus of the world. (I have attached some pictures from the scene; however, there are repetitions in both events)
Speaking of which, let me briefly introduce the Notre Dame de Paris:
1. It is a typical Gothic architectural style; however, the Notre Dame de Paris is not yet completed; because the spire of the roof has not been built, which is a symbol of Gothic architecture! But the whole building is elegant and tall; giving people a sense of upward force!
2. The inner court has very beautiful; exquisitely carved murals! These murals and carvings show a wealth of religious stories and character images.
3. There is a huge organ inside the Notre Dame de Paris; these organs are a major feature of Paris. Whenever the church holds religious ceremonies, the beautiful music from the organ will intoxicate people.
4. The Notre Dame de Paris is not only an important cultural heritage of France, but also an important part of European culture. This church has witnessed the historical changes of France and is one of the important symbols of French culture and religion.
In short, the Notre Dame de Paris is a church full of artistic and cultural value, and is also one of the important symbols of French culture and religion.
Unfortunately, a fire broke out around 18:50 on April 15, 2019, which became a very regrettable disaster in human history. However, it is reported that the Notre Dame de Paris is expected to be completed by 2024, and it will coincide with the 2024 Paris Olympics, a major sports event, to welcome people from all over the world. I hope to see her new look soon!
Okay, that's it for this issue; welcome everyone to like, share and comment; tell me where you most want to go in Europe; maybe I will write about it in the next issue!
A person with a heart who came to Europe a few years ago!

Paris - "City of Romance"
⏸Paris, known as the "City of Love", is the capital of France and one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. With its charming architecture, world-famous museums, delicious cuisine, and vibrant nightlife, Paris is a city that can attract visitors of all ages. Follow this guide and let's embark on this wonderful journey together.
✅[Best Travel Time]
Paris is a beautiful city that is suitable for visiting all year round, but the best time to experience Paris depends on your personal situation.
If you prefer mild weather and fewer crowds, consider visiting Paris during the off-season in spring (April to June) and autumn (September to November). During this time, you can enjoy beautiful gardens, outdoor cafes, and cultural events without navigating through crowded streets.
If you like warm weather and festive atmosphere, summer (June to August) is the perfect time to visit Paris. You can enjoy long days, outdoor concerts and festivals, and even swim at Paris Plages (temporary beaches along the Seine River).
If you enjoy winter activities such as ice skating and Christmas markets, then winter (December to February) may be a good time to visit Paris. The city is decorated with festive lights and decorations, and there are fewer tourists during this time.
✅[Check-in Location Recommendation]
Paris is a world-renowned cultural, artistic and fashion capital, as well as a city of romance. Many attractions highlight local characteristics and are well worth a visit.
「1」Eiffel Tower: The Eiffel Tower is one of the most famous landmarks in the world and a must-see attraction in Paris. You can take the elevator or climb the stairs to the top of the tower and enjoy the magnificent view of the city.
"2" The Louvre Museum: The Louvre has over 35,000 works of art, including the Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo, making it one of the largest and most famous museums in the world.
"3" Notre-Dame de Paris: This iconic cathedral is located on the Île de la Cité and is one of the most famous Gothic cathedrals in the world. Although it was damaged in a fire in 2019, it is still worth a visit to admire the stunning architecture and history.
"4" Champs-Élysées: This famous avenue is lined with luxury boutiques, cafes, theaters, and cinemas, making it an ideal place to stroll and immerse oneself in the atmosphere of Paris.
"5" Montmartre: This charming neighborhood is located on a small hill in the north of Paris, famous for its artistic heritage, picturesque streets, and panoramic views of the city.
✅[Local important festival]
Paris is a city of culture, with many popular festivals throughout the year.
「1」Fête de la Musique: This festival is held on June 21st every year to celebrate music. Musicians take to the streets, parks, and public places to perform live music.
"2" Paris Plages: During the summer months of July and August, the banks of the Seine River turn into beaches. You can find lounge chairs, sand, and even swimming pools along the river.
"3" Nuit Blanche: This annual event takes place in early October and is an all-night celebration of contemporary art. Museums, galleries, and public spaces stay open all night, and various performances take place throughout the city.
"4" Fête des Vendanges: This wine festival is held every October in the Montmartre district of Paris. It is a celebration of the grape harvest, including wine tasting, parades, and live music performances.
"5" Carnaval de Paris: This carnival is held every February to celebrate the end of winter. The parade starts from Place Gambetta and ends at Place de la République, featuring colorful floats, dancers, and musicians.
✅[Food]
Paris is famous for its first-class cuisine, offering everything from traditional French dishes like red wine and fried beefsteak to international cuisine like Japanese and Italian. Some of the best dining places in Paris include traditional bistros, street food stalls, and Michelin-starred restaurants.
You can also taste some famous desserts in the city, such as macarons, croissants, and caramel pudding. Paris also has a thriving wine culture, with many bars and wine shops offering tastings and courses.
✅[Tip]
「1」Local transportation options: Paris has a well-developed public transportation system, including metro, buses, and trains. The metro is the fastest and most efficient way to explore the city, with over 300 metro stations in Paris. You can purchase a Paris Visite pass, which allows unlimited rides on metro, buses, and trains for a certain number of days.
You can also explore this city on foot or by bike. Paris has a bike-sharing program called Vélib', which is an affordable and environmentally friendly way to get around the city.
"2" Safety: Paris is generally a safe city, but it is still necessary to take relative precautions, especially when traveling alone or at night. Pay attention to your belongings, avoid carrying large amounts of cash, and be aware of your surroundings. It is best to travel with companions.
"3" Language: French is the official language of Paris, but many people in the city also speak English, especially in tourist areas. Learning some basic French phrases can help you get around and make your trip more enjoyable.
「4」Accommodation: Paris offers a variety of accommodation options, from budget hotels to luxury hotels. Some of the most popular areas to stay in Paris include the Marais, Montmartre, and the Latin Quarter. However, it is necessary to book accommodation in advance, especially during peak tourist season.
⏹In short, Paris is a beautiful and charming city that is suitable for everyone. Whether you are interested in art, history, cuisine, or just want to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Paris, you will definitely have an unforgettable journey in this iconic tourist destination.
Cathedral Notre-Dame de Paris
This is by far, one of the most beautiful and dazzling cathedrals I have ever visited, maybe also because of all the story behind it. The architecture is amazing and just being there is an out of this world experience. Everything gels near this spot and there are so many options for the visitors nearby to go as well.
Good thing is I had the opportunity to visit now it is in renovation because of massive fire and I could not able to see it inside and from the top too. I hope they finish restoring it sometime soon as nothing beats going inside it and seeing Paris from its top tower.
So, I hope to come back soon. I recommend this visit 100% 🙌🏼

Seine River Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
A must-visit: Seine River in Paris, France 🇫🇷
#wheretogo
The Seine River is a famous river in Paris, and there’s no better way to explore Paris than a Seine River Cruise. It is one of the most enjoyable ways to take in the iconic landmarks of the city at a leisurely pace.
Many of Paris’ most famous and important buildings, bridges, and attractions can be seen from the river, as you float along the Seine.
In addition, do also consider the evening cruise when night falls, that’s the time you can see all the attractions lighted up beautifully for a wonderful night time experience.
No matter what, Seine River is lovely at all times of the day, it’s well worth a visit!
My rating of this cruise: 4 ⭐️ out of 5!
The Perfect Paris City Walk 🇫🇷🚶♀️⛴️
#timetotravel
When I was in Paris in June, my sister and I walked along the pedestrianised path along the Seine. It is definitely the scenic Paris City Walk.
As the Seine passes through all the landmarks in Paris, e.g. the Louvre and the Effiel Tower, it gives us a lot of pleasure. The Seine definitely adds to the vitality of Paris and makes Paris so charming.
Many would suggest doing a boat tour but since I had already done one when I first visited in 2014, I skipped on that this time.
Be sure not to miss out on the shops along the Seine. They may be tourist traps but the prints and magnets that the stores are selling really encapsulates the charming city, that is Paris; and it makes them perfect souvenirs.

Is Swimming allowed in the Seine River?
🇫🇷 The Seine River in Paris is an iconic attraction that has captivated people for centuries. With its rich historical significance, breathtaking scenery, vibrant cultural events, and romantic ambiance, it embodies the essence of the City of Lights.
You may ask, "Is Swimming allowed in the Seine River?"
The answer is no, BUT, three swimming areas along the Seine River will be open to public by summer 2025.
Swimming in the Seine has been banned since 1923 because of the dangers to swimmers from boats and poor water quality. However, due to the 2024 Summer Olympics, which will take place in Paris, the city invested €1.4 billion in clean-up act. Hopefully, there will be three open-air swimming areas in the Seine River accessible to the public in the future.
Stroll Along Romantic River Seine
Our stroll along the romantic River Seine was an unforgettable experience.
As we walked hand in hand along the quays, we were surrounded by the beauty and grandeur of Paris. The gentle breeze that came from the river carried the scent of fresh pastries and coffee from nearby cafes, adding to the romantic ambiance.
The sound of the water lapping against the shore provided a soothing soundtrack to our leisurely walk.
As we strolled along, we saw couples taking pictures and artists sketching the scenery. The energy and atmosphere of the city were truly magical.
As we reached the Pont Neuf, we stopped to watch the boats cruising along the river, and seagulls gliding leisurely, creating a tranquil scene.
Our stroll along the romantic River Seine was a beautiful experience that we will always treasure.
