Centre d’histoire de Montréal

After spending time in a city, it's always interesting to see what the city used to be and how it came to be that way. A self-proclaimed history nerd, the Centre d'histoire de Montreal is one of my favourite places in the city. Fittingly located in the heart of Old Montreal, this museum has tons of old photos, maps and artifacts that help to tell the story of Montreal. While its not a very large museum, it's perfect for stopping in, taking a look and maybe even hearing a story or two. Admission is on the uber cheap side at $6 (students, seniors and little ones get to take advantage of an even better discount).

This museum about the history of Montreal is appropriately located in Vieux Montreal. It is quite family friendly with easy to view displays and some interactive features explaining the history of one of Canada's oldest cities.

Walking on the historical corridor, feeling the breath of the atmosphere here, each country's history records the past belonging to their country. We have learned history from junior high school and learned how our own country was before? ✌ It is how many ordeals we have now, so we in the modern society should love our country and develop our country. After stepping through thousands of mountains and rivers, our group came to Montreal and came to Centre d'Histoire de Montreal. Walking on this historical corridor, visiting the history here, it is not a little touch, this place, the history of Montreal, documented their life, come here to visit a lot of tourists, everyone is very interested. 💕 I think after I have been here, I have learned a lot of knowledge that I can't learn in the books, and the history culture is really not by rote memorization, but by my own deep memory after understanding. 😎 Since I am in a foreign country, I still don’t understand the people here.
