Casa di Riposo per Musicisti Giuseppe Verdi

In the last few years of his life, composer Giuseppe Verdi used his wealth to build this very large apartment building with concert halls, restaurants, rehearsal rooms and so on. Originally supported by a pension fund set up by Verdi, it now covers donations from people around the world. Verdi's grave is in the courtyard.

The retired musician's home, located near Michelangelo Square in downtown Milan, is a three-storey classical style building. As a place where many musicians lived in their later years, there is a statue of Verdi in front of the main entrance of the building, and many musicians'heads on both sides of the entrance.

Verdi was buried here after his death. Visiting here, you can see the inscription commemorating Verdi. It's easy to get here by subway from downtown Milan.

Verdi, on the west side of Michelangelo Square, advocated the building, which was really distinctive. It was a good place for artists to gather and a sacred place for them. Later, people set up statues and he was buried in the musician's home.

The three-storey building of red tiles is on the west side of the square, and the red stools are still neatly arranged in the indoor hall.
