Changbai Mountain Volcano National Geopark is located in the Changbai Mountain area of Jilin Province, and is mainly composed of volcanic geomorphological relics. In August 2009, the Ministry of Land and Resources approved it as the fifth batch of national geological parks. The Changbai Mountain area is not only a large volcanic rock distribution area in Northeast China, but also China and East Asia, and it is also an area with a large number of volcanoes. On the lava plateau and lava platform, there are volcanoes erupting centrally at the intersection of NE and NW faults, the huge crater lake Changbai Mountain Tianchi is more spectacular, and there are waterfalls, hot springs and ecologically good pine forests.
