Keyuan is located at No. 32, Keyuan Road, Dongguan City, and was built in the 30th year of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty. The first generation of the garden owner Zhang Jingxiu was a child of the family, and the official residence of Jiangxi was this place. During the Daoguang period, Zhang Jingxiu resigned from his hometown and built a garden. Regarding the name of Keyuan, it is said that there is a story originated from there and there are different explanations. But one thing is the same, that is, this courtyard. Which is now available for sightseeing. The park covers an area of 2,204 square meters and a building area of 1,234 square meters. However, the garden buildings, hills, ponds, flowers and trees and the beautiful scenery are very mesmerizing. At the time of gardening, the technique of small-footed mountain forest was used, so that the scenery of nature can be reproduced in a limited space. The design of the garden is exquisite and elegant, which shows the wonderful architectural design and planning of Lingnan Garden. Compared with the other three gardens, the significance of this garden is far more than a private garden. It is the birthplace of Lingnan culture. The famous Lingnan painting school was also originated from the garden.
