Belvedere Palace, located about 5 kilometers south of Weimar in Thuringia, Germany, is one of Weimar's most famous historical palaces and is known as the "summer palace" of the Dukes of Saxe-Weimar. Built between 1724 and 1732 by order of Duke Ernst August I of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach, it was originally intended for hunting and court leisure. Belvedere Palace is a typical example of Baroque architecture, comprising the main palace, an orangery, gardens, and a large woodland. Its elegant and refined layout reflects the aesthetics of 18th-century European aristocratic court gardens. The palace interior preserves exquisite furniture, porcelain, and art collections, showcasing the luxury and cultural taste of the nobility at the time. The surrounding Baroque gardens and orangery are key features, planted with numerous rare plants and offering captivating scenery throughout the year.
