Guest User: Lying on the bed, I looked at the distant mountains and the walnut tree in front of me. I asked the housekeeper if there were any walnuts falling from the tree these days. Anonymous User: 酒店一邊靠河，一邊靠城牆，位置比較偏僻，好在平武不大，本來也衹是路過，有車還行。我們住的是酒店最好的房間，床品和席夢思以及水壓還可以，雞肋的是一出房間就是天空，下雨就很慘，千萬千萬不能住一樓，其在地下一層，二樓靠路邊，過上過下河邊散步的人一眼就能望穿房間，三樓也衹有靠河邊的2、3間房間還行。早餐和當地物價及這個酒店價格不匹配，酒店性價比不高。報恩寺值得看，最好請導遊講解才看得到其中的名堂；距離酒店60多公里的平武縣川金絲猴科普教育基地能見到國家一級保護動物川金絲猴，可以和它近距離接觸撫摸握手。距離酒店不遠的清飪家的牛肉湯鍋還不錯，成都到平武在貫山收費站下高速，去吃一頓雍肥腸，等於品嚐到江油肥腸的頂級味道了。

Took the kids to the mountains to get an early taste of autumn's cool breeze~ There are primeval forests, lakes by snow-capped mountains, rare vegetation, and wildlife here... The best part is that it's not crowded! Not crowded! It's so empty you can have the entire scenic area to yourself! 📍Sichuan Wanglang National Nature Reserve 🚗Transportation: 1. Take the high-speed train 🚄 to Jiangyou Station, then take the direct shuttle to the scenic area 2. Drive from Chengdu for 4–4.5 hours, take the Jiumian Expressway to Wanglang, and you can drive directly to the visitor center 🎫Fees 1. One-day admission ticket is CNY 115 (includes round-trip sightseeing bus; free for children under 1.2m). You can enter and exit on the same day. Take the bus from the visitor center to Ganhaizi. After exploring Ganhaizi, you can hike or take a shuttle to Baishagou, then head back after you're done 2. For a two-day trip staying in the scenic area, we booked the campsite accommodation in advance, which included the admission ticket. We just paid an extra CNY 50 for the bus at the visitor center. On the first day, we took the bus from the visitor center to the campsite to check in and rest. In the afternoon, we took the bus to Ganhaizi + hiked in the primeval forest. The next day, we caught good weather and went to Ganhaizi again; it was truly beautiful. If you have enough time, I recommend staying in the scenic area for 1–2 nights to fully experience nature ✔️Essentials for kids: 1. Warm clothing | We encountered rainy weather on the first day, and it was only around 10°C in the mountains, so warm clothing was necessary. We brought mootiger warm jackets this time; they are lightweight and easy to pack. Most importantly, they are warm, stylish, soft, and skin-friendly—the kids loved wearing them. We also encountered light rain that day, and the water droplets just stayed on the surface without soaking in. We wore them all day in the rain and stayed dry inside, which is something outdoor enthusiasts will really love💕 2. Sun protection | The altitude here reaches up to 3,000m. The UV rays are very strong on sunny days, so sunscreen and sun hats are a must 3. The altitude of the accommodation area and Ganhaizi is under 3,000m, so most people won't experience altitude sickness, but it is recommended to avoid strenuous exercise, and do not wash your hair or take a shower.

I hadn't brought a jacket, so I just took a quick look around. I thought it was a riverside boardwalk, but it turned out to be a mountain climb, which was too tiring, so we gave up.
