For first-time visitors, we recommend spending 6 days on Grande Comore first. Don't rush into visiting multiple islands, as some island ferries are not always up to standard and may not have enough life jackets.

📅 6-Day Itinerary

Day 1 — Moroni 🇰🇲
Explore the old city's Medina, mosques, and the Volo Volo market. Then relax by the sea. A day off without traveling far.

Day 2 — North Coast 🌊
Road trip north to Mitsamiouli → Lac Salé → northern beaches. Ideal for a day of driving through villages and along the volcanic coast.

Days 3-4 — Mount Karthala 🌋
A highlight for adventure seekers. This volcano, approximately 2,361 meters high, is best suited for a 2-day, 1-night trip to the summit with a guide, as the route is long and weather changes rapidly. Importantly, Karthala is an active volcano. Therefore, you must check the latest status before going up every time.

Day 5 — Rest Day + Coast
After the trek, have a light day to enjoy the beach, eat local food, and rest. It's not advisable to continue hiking immediately afterwards.

Day 6 — Moroni + Return Trip
