I ended up spending some time in Mastichari during my trip to Kos, and honestly… I didn’t expect to like it this much. It’s one of those places that feels super calm the moment you arrive — long beach, soft wind, and that quiet vibe that makes you slow down without trying. We walked along the shore, grabbed a coffee, and just watched the waves for a bit. Nothing complicated, just peaceful. As the day went on, the place got even better. The sunset here is crazy — the sky goes full orange over the Aegean, and all the tavernas start putting out food that smells too good. Fresh fish right by the sea hits different. If you’re on Kos and want a break from the busy spots, Mastichari is honestly perfect for a few hours or even a whole day. Super easy to get to, and the port makes it a nice base if you’re thinking about hopping over to Kalymnos. Quiet, breezy, friendly — that’s pretty much Mastichari. Would definitely go back.#travel #mastichari #couplestrip
