✨NASI Krawu Bu Timan, A MUST-TRY CULINARY DELIGHT FROM GRESIK✨ — traveler post in Gresik Regency

✨NASI Krawu Bu Timan, A MUST-TRY CULINARY DELIGHT FROM GRESIK✨

Nasi Krawu is a traditional rice dish from Gresik, East Java, with a savory and slightly sweet flavor. Nasi Krawu consists of soft, sticky rice with various side dishes, including shredded beef, offal, serundeng (shredded coconut), and a special shrimp paste chili sauce with petis (petis) in it. This time, we tried Nasi Krawu Bu Timan while traveling from Sidoarjo to Tuban. We were just outside the Gresik toll exit, and Nasi Krawu Bu Timan happened to be very close to the exit, so we stopped by. 🚗 We absolutely love Nasi Krawu with its rich shrimp paste chili sauce, especially when paired with the savory broth and salted egg. It's absolutely delicious! 😍 You absolutely have to try it! #localflavor #nasikrawu #gresikculinary #gresikculinary #traditionalfood

A hidden gem cafe with great classic vibes. — traveler post in Gresik Regency

A hidden gem cafe with great classic vibes.

I've been hanging out in Kota Baru Driyorejo, aka KBD, for a while now, but I've never come across a cafe as aesthetic and chill as this one. Even though it's located right in the middle of the scorching suburbs, the place still feels nice and cool thanks to all the lush green trees. Both the indoor and outdoor areas are equally awesome. My absolute favorite part is the library corner, which is stocked with plenty of fiction and non-fiction books. It makes grabbing a coffee and having a discussion so much fun. It's the perfect spot to host a study group or a Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Why wasn't this place around back when I was working on my undergrad or master's thesis? I totally would have been here every single day because the vibe is just that good. There's also a small fish pond area. So, if you bring the kids along, they'll definitely have a blast and feel right at home. The menu is also super budget-friendly. A brown sugar latte and a side of fries will only set you back 25k in total, There's a wide variety of options on the menu. What really sets them apart isn't just their coffee or non-coffee drinks. They actually serve jamu (traditional herbal drinks) here! It really gives off a super healthy hangout vibe. They’ve got books, healthy food and drinks, and a super cozy and comfortable space. It's the ultimate all-in-one spot to get some assignments done, work remotely, or just enjoy some me-time. You can easily fish for some inspiration and network with people here, hehe. The location isn't too far from my house either. The parking lot is safe, spacious, and has plenty of spots. Driving a car here is totally fine. Getting there is a breeze, too. Just head down Zamrud Alley, go all the way to the dead end, and you're there. It seriously feels like a secret sanctuary hidden right in the middle of the chaotic, packed suburbs.

What To Do In East Bali⁉️🤔📌 — traveler post in Gresik Regency

What To Do In East Bali⁉️🤔📌

#balitrip Most people tend to stay in South Bali, such as Kuta and Canggu, yet there are some amazing and beautiful places to visit in the quieter areas of North Bali and East Bali. We’ve been to East Bali on two separate times and would recommend that you stay for at least 1 days overnight. 1. Pura Lempuyang If you love visiting temples, Pura Lempuyang needs to be on your Bali bucket list. Located on the slopes of the quiet Mount Lempuyang, this Hindu temple is one of the best temples in Bali. Most people visit Pura Lempuyang for the “Gateway to Heaven” gate as it overlooks Mount Agung, the highest mountain on the island, on a clear day. Be prepared for a long line, yet the photo with the photo magic is worth it! 2. Tirta Gangga Water Palace Tirta Gangga Water Palace is a picturesque place to visit in Bali. The small water palace is stunning with luscious gardens and water fountains everywhere. As you enter the water palace, the left side has a bridge and walking path, while the right side has a pool with guardian statues and stepping stones. The right side is more crowded as you follow a stone path maze that leads to the center of a multi-tiered water fountain. As you walk along the path, check out the giant golden orange koi fish swimming in the water. 3. Stay in Unique & Insta-Worthy Hotel #bali #tripblazers #summervacation #celebratewithtrip #passionpassport #2023travelwish

[Indonesia] "Mie Gacoan" is the hottest selling point

Surabaya, Indonesia 🔥Do you like spicy food🔥 Level 0 to level 8 Mie Gacoan Address📍: Jl. Mayjen Sungkono, Dukuh Pakis, Kec. Dukuhpakis, Surabaya, Jawa Timur, Indonesia A chain restaurant that sells itself as the spiciest in Indonesia🔥. It's a popular restaurant and there's a line every day at lunchtime. It's a ramen similar to Indonesian yakisoba and is reasonably priced, so it's popular with young people and families. Even level 1 is quite spicy, so if you don't like it, it's safer to set it to level 0. If you want to challenge yourself with spicy food, you can definitely eat spicy food at this restaurant. Please give it a try! #Indonesia #Surabaya #Overseas travel #Ramen shop #Spicy #Gourmet

Angonjiwo Coffe & Resto — traveler post in Gresik Regency

Angonjiwo Coffe & Resto

The most comfortable in Gresik! 👍 This is a really big place to play. The indoor is sooo spacious and comfortable, the outdoor is in the front and back which is very spacious in the back like on the garden terrace of the house, it has a vibe. Mimin is the most luv with the front of their store, they are pretty white 😍 The menu here is complete, there are many kinds of heavy meals and there are also snacks such as pizza, chicken popcorn, fries, donuts, etc. If the drinks are also a lot of coffee or non-coffee menus. For coffee, Mimin, try the ice latte, it's suitable, the coffee and milk taste all balance . Also try their ice chocolate and their crispy chicken snacks (I forgot the name hehe) they are all delicious, but the ice chocolate is recommended for sweet lovers. Oh yeah, there's also gelato here, the choices are really complete Come on, those who want to go to Gresik can be a reference for stopping by to hang out or eat. #cafe

GILI NOKO BAWEAN ISLAND : GRESIK — traveler post in Gresik Regency

GILI NOKO BAWEAN ISLAND : GRESIK

Gili Noko on Bawean Island, Gresik is the choice of travelers who want island hopping in East Java. Like this is beautiful. The waves in the morning were very calm without the slightest wave. The wind seemed to be blowing quite slowly, but still quite cool. Our small boat drove without a hitch to Gili Noko Island. Taking advantage of the time, I, who was sitting at the stern of the boat, immediately chatted with the helmsman named Mas Rahmad. From his narrative, it turned out that Gili Noko was a different island. One named Gili Island, is an inhabited island with around 70 families inhabited at the time. Another is Noko Island which is a small uninhabited island. There is only a stretch of sand and a row of cypress prawns. The two islands even from a distance have shown their shape, even though they are almost hand in hand but are still separated by the ocean. The water is so calm, the waves just gently splash around the boat. The reflection of the sun's rays can be seen directly into the bottom of the ocean because the water is so clear. From the boat, we can already see how beautiful the coral reefs are at the bottom. Only 3-5 meters deep in this spot around Gili Noko. Seeing so clear the water here we seemed impatient to jump into the water. After the mask and snorkel were installed properly, I tried to jump for the first time. Sure enough, in one dive I was able to see the beauty of the coral in this Gili Noko spot. Corals of various sizes appear to be scattered without gaps at the bottom of this ocean. Groups of fish can be seen huddled around the reef in search of food. It is certain that the condition of the corals here is still well preserved. In the past, many fishermen used potash and bombs, but after that the corals were damaged and many fish were lost. Therefore, since decades ago, we have realized and started to take care of the coral reefs here. After being satisfied at the first spot, we then headed to the second spot which was slightly away from the island and immediately looked at the open sea. The waves also seem a little bigger, but still in the safe category for snorkelling. After I tried to go inside and go around a bit, it's true that the corals in this second spot have a larger size than the first spot. However, here there are lots of corals. dead and broken plus in some corners I can easily find plastic waste. #beaches #bestislandtraveltowns #scubadiving #naturalwonders#camping

GRESIK — traveler post in Gresik Regency

GRESIK

The location is easy to find because it is right on the side of the highway with quite striking white buildings. There is a motorbike parking lot, if the car is not wide enough because it is placed on the side of the road. Places that are not so big tend to be small, seem minimalist with an instagramable cafe concept in every corner of the room. There is also a 2nd floor that can be used to take pictures. For standard taste food and drinks at a fairly affordable price. In my opinion, this cafe is more concerned with the design of the cafe so that it can be used for taking pictures. The view of the limestone mountain makes this cafe so unique, but with the temperature from the city of Gresik itself which is already hot from there, it is better to have an air-conditioned indoor room in the future.
