Went on a one day trip to Horshoe Bend and Grand Canyon in AZ. This is a destination not to be missed if you are in the area. It is a bit of a hike from the parking lot to the lookout (more like a long walk), so plan accordingly if you are trying to catch sunset as we saw people running. Also watch young kids as the viewing area is not fenced, and consists of flagstone (which breaks easily), sand and dirt along a 100% vertical drop down to the water/rocks below. Anyway, the views are stunning and the best photo ops, I think, were to the left of the trail's end. There are many places to sit and take in the view. It is pretty amazing!#summervacation #hikingtrails
