Our family was filled with anticipation for this trip to First Mountain, as we had been planning it for a long time. Thanks to purchasing the Swiss Travel Pass, we received discounts on cable car tickets and various activities, making our journey more economical and worthwhile. First Mountain is renowned for its stunning natural scenery and diverse outdoor activities, making it an ideal destination for adventure lovers like us. As we rode the cable car up the mountain, the view outside the window left me in awe. The peaks glistened under the sunlight, and the clouds floated in the sky, seemingly adding vibrant colors to our journey. The cable car ascended slowly, and the surrounding scenery became increasingly spectacular, lifting our spirits. Upon reaching the summit, our first choice was to try the mountain carts. Although time was limited, we decided to focus on this activity and were not disappointed. Driving the mountain cart, I felt an unprecedented sense of freedom. The wind rushed past my ears, and the picturesque mountain scenery around me was mesmerizing. Along the way, we even saw leisurely cows grazing on the grass, enjoying the tranquility of this land. It felt like playing an exhilarating mountain cart game, filling my heart with joy. The experience was incredibly fun! Every sharp turn and acceleration heightened the excitement. Competing with family members, none of us wanted to back down, and this joy made me forget the worries of daily life. Even though we only tried one activity, this experience left me deeply satisfied. If we had more time, I would definitely try other activities like paragliding and mountain biking, which are popular attractions at First Mountain. I highly recommend visiting First Mountain! Absolutely in love with Mount First – so much more than just snow views.

I honestly thought that First in Switzerland was just one of those mountains where you take the cable car up, snap a couple of photos of the snow, and head right back down. But oh my god, it was an absolute blast! The scenery is unbelievable, the grass is ridiculously green, and the sky was a clear blue when I visited. But the absolute best part is that there are so many fun things you can do on the way down. I tried the "First Glider" (you hang in a harness and soar through the air, a bit nerve-wracking but so much fun!) and then I rode a Mountain Cart down the mountain. Cruising right past alpine meadows and cows with those massive snow-capped mountains in the background was absolutely incredible. It does cost a pretty penny with all the lift passes and activities (Switzerland isn't exactly known for being cheap, haha), but it was honestly worth every single cent. If you want a day that’s more than just "taking in the views," you definitely have to check this place out! 🚠

Lake Brienz

The last boat from Interlaken East Station to Lake Brienz was at 15:07, and when we went there, the boat had just left. The staff taught us to take the bus to Brienz, and then catch the boat at 16:40, and take the boat from Brienz back to Interlaken. We bought a second-class Swiss pass, which allows free boat rides. There are not many seats in the second-class cabin, but there are more open-air seats. If you are afraid of the cold, you can get on the boat earlier. I sat in the restaurant at first and thought I had to consume, but after sitting for a while, I realized that there was no mandatory requirement.

Paragliding Experience in Interlaken by Paragliding Interlaken

Paragliding in Interlaken is a popular sport among local tourists (especially European tourists). In every corner of Interlaken, looking towards the Jungfraujoch, you can always see paragliders floating in the sky around the Jungfraujoch like dandelions. I personally think paragliding is a game for the brave. Anyway, I don’t dare to play it. I can only watch and envy.

Jungfraujoch Train Station

It only takes 45 minutes to get from Grindelwald to Jungfraujoch by express train. You can also enjoy many beautiful views along the way. The Jungfrau Railway was planned in 1893, and it was not until 1912 that the highest railway station in Europe was finally opened. The construction cost a total of 16 million Swiss francs. So it is understandable that the price at the entrance of Jungfraujoch is so expensive.

Eiger

The Eiger is known as the most dangerous peak in Europe. Its north side is extremely steep, with an average slope of 70 degrees and a vertical drop of 1,800 meters. But the more dangerous it is, the more it can arouse the interest of explorers and climbers. The Jungfrau Railway Passport records a tragedy of a failed climb on the north slope. We ordinary people can just admire it at the foot of the mountain, and Grindelwald is a great place to appreciate the Eiger. The experience was great. The little car went up and down, and when you got to the top, it was snowing heavily. It looked really cool. The prices at the cafe in the attraction were also reasonable. It was so peaceful to have a cup of coffee while watching the snow fall.

As long as the weather is good, the scenery in Switzerland is amazing. There are fewer tourists at the Sphinx Observation Deck than at the Glacier Plateau, and the wind is not as strong, but the scenery is no less beautiful, and you can experience the beauty of the Jungfrau in 360 degrees.
