Looking northeast from Salah al-Din Castle, there is a low and dilapidated gray building complex between Al-Azhar Park and Mugaitam Mountain. This is Cairo's famous cemetery "City of the Dead", also called "Arafah" Cemetery Group", where many dignitaries are buried. Different from ordinary cemeteries, these are all tomb houses built in the style of folk houses. Today this area is a slum in Cairo, where many homeless Egyptian poor live and guard the tombs of the rich.
