Nestled beside the meandering Brisbane River, the Urban Botanic Gardens is a great place to view Queensland native plants, with trails, bamboo gardens, big-leaf araucaria, macadamia nut trees and big-leaf banyan trees. Pleasant scenery The park is lined with trees, and flowers bloom most of the year. Brisbane locals like to come here for leisure, and they can often see nearby students and office workers walking. You can take a leisurely stroll in the botanical garden, or you can rent a bicycle to walk through the garden, or bring food for a picnic on the grass. There is a beautiful mangrove boardwalk along the river on the east side of the botanical garden, and the street lights along the way will shine until late at night.
