Belgium
Belgium is the heart of Europe. Home to many European Union offices and international organizations, Belgium is inextricably tied to the continent. In Brussels, diplomats mingle with visitors heading off to see works by Bruegel and other European masters at the Royal Museums. The Grand Place epitomizes European town squares and historic buildings dating to the 14th century form the perfect background for photos. In Antwerp, the famous port city, trendy modern fashion is on display along with stately architectural designs. Ghent is a lovely university town brimming with culture and music. And the medieval town of Bruges has exquisite canals where you can stroll while enjoying some delicious chocolate. Belgium is at the center of things in Europe.
