Tail of Long Island (Intersection of Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea)

The boundary of the Yellow Bohai Sea is roughly the connection between the old iron mountain of Liaodong Peninsula and Tianhengshan of Shandong Peninsula. The Changshan Islands are dotted on this line like pearls left behind. From the perspective of Penglai, Tianheng Island, the boundary line of Huangpi is not obvious; but from the Huangpi boundary monument of Long Island Linhai Park, the Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea tide head opposite, an S-shaped intersection line is clearly visible, shaped like "Taiji map", this is the tail of Changshan, legendary Quanzhen Jiaoqiu machine has come here to collect gas. Changshanwei is located at the southernmost end of Linhai Park, which is made of Zhuji pebbles, wide and pointed, curved and flowing, shaped like a "pony tail" floating into the sea. At the high tide, the "pony tail" is only more than 200 meters long, and at the low tide, it is only more than 400 meters, but its underwater extension reaches two or three kilometers, and it coincides with the intersection of the Yellow Bohai Sea. This strange sea accumulation and landform is rare in the world. According to the analysis of the Changshan Islands National Geopark, when the sea current sediment moves vertically to the coast and the island, the cross section becomes smaller, and the waves refract and diffraction on the cliff edge and the corner of the island generate the wave shadow area. The wave enters the wave shadow area due to reduced energy and reduced sediment capacity. The moving part of the sand along the coast (island) piles up on the shore (island), forming a gravel mouth that extends outward, and the long days form a long mountain tail. It is said that every time the tide is accompanied by the southerly wind facing the current, the waves borrow the wind, the tide borrows the force, and the two seas meet to fight the rough and the wind is spectacular. Today, the intersection of waves is not strong, we only see a trace of S-shaped waves. We went down to the beach and stood in the sea at the end of the long mountain, it was really "one step across the yellow raft, two waves on both feet". The Yellow Sea and the Bohai Sea waves hit, collided together, kissing our feet, it is a wonderful feeling... Because people are over-collecting, there are few long mountain tail ball stones, and the beach is more artificially transported gravel. The park has strictly prohibited tourists from picking up ball stones.

Longshanwei, the southernmost tip of Long Island, the long wave line in the distance is the Yellow Bohai Sea dividing line, the water of the two seas converges in the middle, so it presents a great spectacle of the waves staying here forever. The weather today is a bit bad, the photos are not bright enough, and the dividing line can still be seen.

The more famous mountain on Long Island is Changshan, and then the bottom of this Changshan is the dividing line of the Huang Bohai Sea. The difference is not particularly large, but it can be seen more clearly. It seems that it is still possible.

It’s really much more fun than Jiuzhangya. I will go to Wanniao Island next year. This way, Long Island is a trip. The tickets are valid for 24 hours. If you can drive on the boat for 140 one-way without people, you can rent a car. If you are in a hurry, it is not very cost-effective to rent a car back and forth on the north-south line. Don’t worry about waiting for the bus. And I got a rainbow.

Changshanwei is located in Linhai Park, the southernmost tip of Nanchangshan Island. This is the natural Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea dividing line. Standing at the end of Changshan Mountain, watching the two seas, the Yellow Sea water is yellow, choppy, the Bohai Sea water is blue, and the gentle calm is very magical.

Changshanwei is located in Linhaigong, from the glass plank road to the beach, along the beach to Changshanwei. At Changshanwei, you can feel the intersection of the Bohai Sea and the Yellow Sea at the top of the mountain. After looking at the Yellow Sea boundary monument from a distance, it will be perfect to feel it up close.
