Beautiful old convent by river in Vila Nova de Gaia which is also setting for modern sculpture exhibition.
This was a lovely place to visit in middle of the riverside walk in Gaia. Very old, go round outside as well as inside. Beautiful old sculptures, paintings and frescoes. Also amazing modern sculpture ...

In Vila Nova de Gaia we found this convent, which is very close to where the cruises are escalating.
History more than the building
