Store in Yamamachi Suji
While strolling around Yamamachisuji, I found a building with a unique presence. Mr. Inami purchases a tea wholesaler store built in the late Meiji era and runs a Buddhist altar store. The front door is equipped with large arch windows and cast arabesque patterns.
Login to tangible cultural wealth
It is a Buddhist altar shop in a modern building in Yamamachisuji, which is famous for its Dozo-zukuri townscape. I stopped by when I took a walk around the area in March. It is a small store with two stories and tile roofs between Maguchi ３ and Deep 6.8 built in 1905 (Meiji 38). The front design is characterized by a large arch window decorated with cast arabesque patterns. There was a plate of nationally registered tangible cultural properties on the wall. There are many cultural properties in the area, so if you are interested, why not take a walk over time?
