Beautiful and quiet shrine
Original Text
January 9, 2020, Thursday. I worshiped with my wife. The precincts are larger than I imagined, and the hall of worship, the main shrine, and many other Setsusha shrines are also very beautiful. I was able to worship quietly for a while. I definitely want to visit again, such as the cherry blossom season and autumn. I was awarded a bill of 2,000 yen. There were also many beautiful amulets. The road is not very wide to the parking lot near the precincts, but you can usually drive there, so please visit us.
There is a cedar that is said to be 1000 years old in the precincts and is a natural monument. The old tree with a circumference of 10 meters is also a sacred body, so it is spectacular. The shrine itself seems to have been widely valued historically, but there are pink hearts and owl statues that look like characters. I felt uncomfortable with myself who liked the stained things.
It is a place where you can walk a little from Takahagi station, but you can walk. The site was large and it was a magnificent building and was spectacular. Recommended if you have time.
I think that there were many old and venerable shrines and temples in the area, or in the past, there was such a culture centered on temples and shrines in each area of Japan, but in recent decades it has concentrated in the metropolitan area. An area where there are magnificent temples and shrines where I don't think so. You can see large stone frogs in Kita Ibaraki 々. I imagine that it is manufactured by a stone carving craftsman specializing in stone frogs.
I stopped by after sightseeing in the north of Ibaraki Prefecture, and honestly was surprised at the unexpectedly magnificent shrine. The large precincts were well cleaned and I felt that my feelings would be washed. Also, tears spilled when I saw the monument to honor young people who committed suicide at the end of the Pacific War. The "Yasugi", which is over a thousand years old in the precincts, is famous, but I think the monument is also worth a look.
