The building is a two-story brick and wood structure, Victorian Roman style architectural style; rich and delicate decoration, classical pillars and wall pillars are in order, the outer pillars are the rare Corinthian pillars in the Bund building; there is a corridor connected to Building 1. Now it is the flagship store of Patek Philippe. In front of Building 1, the English garden is surrounded by trees and grasses are flying; 1/2 around the building, ancient trees are all over and trees are shaded; plus the surrounding security management is strict, the photography team is more difficult to enter, there are few people, beautiful scenery, quiet and warm.

After the British Consulate was built at the intersection of the Huangpu River and the Suzhou River in 1855, the area along the Yuanmingyuan Road quickly became a foreign consulate, and the gathering place of associations, cultural institutions and foreign banks in Western countries made Yuanmingyuan Road one of the densest roads in history.
