Exploring Pike Place Market in Seattle
#citywalk
Pike Place Market is an iconic market located in the northern part of downtown Seattle. It is full of shops selling some of the freshest produce, arts and craft works, flower stands and restaurants. Some of the best parts of the market are the seafood market where you get to see fish being tossed about, live performances, the infamous gum wall and fresh food served right to you. It is a a wonderful place to walk around, eat, and soak up the atmosphere. After spending a couple hours here just walking
about and eating, we adjourned to the nearby Starbucks which is apparently the first ever store. I would have liked to stay longer, but it got a little too crowded. This is simply a place you have got to visit when in Seattle. You could easily spend an entire afternoon or a whole day here.
It’s a beautiful place especially at night. And in the morning you can also browse through some mysterious stores inside the market.
One of the highlights was witnessing the iconic fishmongers at Pike Place Fish Market. Their energetic fish throwing and infectious enthusiasm drew crowds and created a lively spectacle.
A very crowded place which you can see a different American lifestyle here. A lot of fresh seafood here.
Pike Place Market was very fun! I went by boat from Victoria, Canada 😊 It was fun with a lot of delicious rice 🤭
