Give it a miss!

Very dull town, dirty, slightly menacing atmosphere. Very conservative. I wouldn't bother going and would not recommend it.

INTERESTING PLACE TO VISIT

If you find yourself in the vicinity, it's well worth a visit. Make sure you climb the tower for great views of the area. Lots of information available in Arabic and English.

Good signage

Our guide didn't have much to say, and had some things wrong, but with a little research before or after, and a good read of the signs, this is a nice attraction.
