We bought sandwiches from the nearby bakery and ate them at the picnic tables in the park overlooking the lake. A tranquil spot for lunch. Free parking.
Lovely area full of beautiful roses and flowers. Ducks are quite comical. Great place to sit and enjoy the ice cream from the shop around the corner or take your own picnic and sit at the tables.
After walking around some of the main streets in Portsoy, we went for a wee walk into the area of Loch of Soy (signposted 'Loch Soy"). There's a free carpark next to it and the Co-Op (shop) is close ...
