Masjid Raya Mujahidin merupakan masjid terbesar di Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Awal pendirian masjid ini memiliki sejarah panjang dan berliku. Namun setelah menempuh waktu panjang, akhirnya pendirian masjid ini pun rampung dan diresmikan oleh Presiden Indonesia yaitu Soeharto pada tahun 1978Masjid Raya Mujahidin merupakan masjid terbesar di Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. di Masjid Raya Mujahidin di Pontianak ini sudah ada sejak zaman dahulu pada era presiden Soekarno, dirinya juga merupakan tokoh publik yang berperan dalam pembukaan masjid tersebut untuk yang pertama kalinya pada tahun 1938 zulkaidah tepatnya tanggal 20 sedangkan pada tahun masehi yaitu sekitar tanggal 23 Oktober 1978.
