The rows of cherry trees on the approach were nice.

We were around Oshino Hakkai, and decided to go to Toenji Temple on the north side to see it. It is a temple on the north side of Iris Pond, which is the northernmost part of Oshino Hakkai, about 300 m. It is an old temple that was founded in 810 as a dojo for Mt. Fuji training. It was a better temple than I expected, and there were many cherry trees along the approach. It will show you a wonderful landscape during the flower season.
It is a historic temple built in 810 as a dojo for Mt. Fuji training.

We were visiting the Oshino Hakkai, and after seeing the iris pond on the north side of the Oshino Hakkai, we went further. After visiting Asama Shrine, heading west, there was a small river called the Shinnasho River, which is beautiful in greenery. Toenji Temple was also located across the Miya Bridge. This Toenji Temple is a historic temple that was built in 810 as a dojo for Mt. Fuji training. In addition to the main hall, the precincts are lined up with Kuri, Bell Tower Gate, Sanmon, and Jizo-do, and the end temple of Mt. Hiei Enryakuji ...
I was off when I was sightseeing in Oshino Hakkai. It's a little far away and a little expensive, so it's very quiet and calm. There are two types of Buddhist statues such as Fudo Myoo and Holy Kannon, and there are two types of red stamps.
It is in front of the Oshino Miya Bridge. When I received the red stamp, the chief priest came all the way to the temple and told me the story of color 々. Because Oshino Hakkai is behind "water", he visits this temple where the "fire" sun is enshrined, balances, and goes to Mt. Fuji. I also received a nice pamphlet, and if you are going to Oshino Hakkai, please visit this temple. it's recommended.
It is located less than 10 minutes walk from the center of Oshino Hakkai, but there were no other pilgrims and the hustle and bustle of Oshino Hakkai was very quiet and calm like a lie. The approach is a row of cherry trees, but on 4 Moon 28 Day, it was a leaf cherry tree. Even so, it was good that the cherry blossoms were in bloom in front of the main hall, the cherry blossoms of the Tango Festival were fluttering, and the carp streamers were swimming.
