The big ginkgo in Shofukuji was magnificent. The age of the tree is estimated to be about 700 years and the thickness is 9 ｍ or more. It seems that it is designated as a natural monument of Odawara City, and the surrounding area was surrounded by chains.

I visited Shofukuji Temple at Bando Sanjusansho No. 5 Fudasho. It is about a 25-minute walk from Kamomiya Station on the Tokaido Line.
