Jianchu Temple

Jianchu Temple is the first Buddhist temple in Nanjing and the beginning of Dabaoen Temple. The location is on the south side of Dabaoen Temple Site Park. It has been rebuilt and is not large in scale. Archaeological excavations are still underway on the west side of the temple. There are few tourists here. The specific location is under the elevated Yingtian Street on the south side of Dabaoen Temple.

The first Buddhist temple in Jiangnan should also be the second Buddhist temple in China after the Baima Temple. It was built by Sun Quan of Dongwu. A Hu monk from his toes.
